SONS OF ANARCHY UPDATE. CAMERAS ROLL.

We begin filming the pilot this Tuesday. At the risk of sounding self-congratulatory, I have to say, I think I've managed to surround myself with an amazing team. From my line producer to my costume designer, everyone is at the top of their game. I have the Sopranos A-team at the wheel -- Allen Coulter (director), Sidney Wolinsky (editor) and Scott Murphy (production designer). And Allen's DP from Hollywoodland, Rome and Damages, Jonathan Freeman. Allen Coulter is, in my opinion, one of the most talented directors working in television and film today. Any hack with a good DP can call shots and assemble images, but a good director is a story teller. Allen is just that; a true artist with a flare for originality, an uncompromising eye and a sensibility that's just twisted enough to get my shit. It's been a love fest since he stepped off the plane. My cast is as eclectic as they are talented. I have not had to make a single compromise in the casting process. Every actor in this show is the right actor for the role. We've just closed on some people so I hope I'm not stepping on any press releases. But I can't suppress my glee any longer. Here's my kick-ass Sons of Anarchy cast: JAX TELLER - CHARLIE HUNNAM CLAY MORROW - SCOTT GLENN GEMMA TELLER - KATEY SAGAL TARA KNOWLES - MAGGIE SIFF WENDY CASE - DREA DEMATTEO CHIBS TELFORD - TOMMY FLANAGAN HALF-SACK EPPS - JOHNNY LEWIS BOBBY MUNSON - MARK BOONE JR. OPIE LERNER - RYAN HURST ASSISTANT CHIEF HALE - TAYLER SHERIDAN HAWK CANTU - EMILIO RIVERA JC ORTIZ - THEO ROSSI PINEY WINSTON - BILL LUCKING SHERIFF TRAMMEL - GLENN PLUMMER DONNA LERNER - SPRAGUE GRAYDEN TICK WHALEN - RICHARD GANT ERNEST DARBY - MITCH PILEGGI LUANN DELANEY - DENDRIE TAYLOR LOWELL - ERNIE GRUNWALD HAPPY - DAVID LABRAVA HANG-AROUND - STEVIE LONG I'll post some pictures from set as we continue.

Fuck you straight. you don't know shit about the 1% world.

You can't turn us into a product. I spit on you and your crew.

Don't forget to include how the government wants to take away our rights and freedoms as individules who live the real M/C lifestyle and not in the dream world your about to unleash on the public. We are not a product that you can exploit. We are what we are, and we are Free!

I am a Milwaukee, WI., local....home of Harley Davidson. This is the HOTTEST premise for a TV series..... clever clever. Our nation of Harley loyals deserve to dream. Thank you to whoever made this happen, because my brother, (naturally), you are on to something big. Saw a commercial tonite, hence the excitement. GOOD LUCK AND GO BIG. Peace, Suzanne M.

I saw the promos for this recently; and noticed you've included a top and bottom rocker as well as a MC patch in your pretend club's "colors". Some friendly advice, DON'T wear these off the production set; sooner or later you'll run into some actually 1%'er who's sure to take offense and hurt you. And if you don't understand that do some research. Jeez.

I'm not a blogger but in this case I can't help myself. I find it pathetic that ANY true biker (club) member should sweat the small stuff. Accept it as a compliment that half of the world is facinated enough to tune in and watch- and learn- about YOUR world. I say, BRING IT ON HOME, cuz it's as close to having a movie made about YOUR life that you'll ever get! Logo schmogo. I highly doubt ANY of these men would ever disrespect by tryin' to represent off camera. C'mon man. Remember, this is Hollywood. The place dreams come true....don't take yourself too seriously. Personally I think it's flattering and any biker bro-hoods should be proud that these film makers admire you enough to make a show as such, and then call it, "SON'S OF ANARCHY." Let's bring a bit of rebellion back into the USA! That's our problem. A country full of ignorant people playing possum. Why not sit back and enjoy the ride! Like Jim Morrison once said about his life, "....enough to base a movie on?..." Thiensville, WI

Man internet hard asses coming up on th forums acting hard. Last time i checked 1% didn't give a rat ass about the internet. Plus you weekend warriors bragging about living in the home of Harley? Tell that story at the next big biker convention and see what happens. On with show and dismiss the internet badasses

Do you really think that an MC that has been around for more then 50 years isn't growing with the times??? even 1%er's are Online. Its a new world and yes, 1%ers adapt. Also, about the "compliment" of this show. They could have tried to get it right. But they don't get it, they just see a new way to make money.

I liked it. Then again, I could be biased because I was born in Oakland and recognized Lake Merritt, I used to hang in San Leandro and I still ride. In fact, Sons of Anarchy is a fun and interesting ride(especially when they do get it wrong- it's kind of funny). So ride on, Clay! And kick in the teeth of any motherfuckers who say otherwise.. SOA kicks ass!

First I must say I am not a 1% or a weekend warrior. I am a middle class lady that finds peace in riding my 89 sporty any chance I get even if it is just the commute to work. With that said I love the show and I think it gets better each week however I have one small complaint. In the last episode the scene on the highway after Jax and Bobby shoot at the Myans. It is shown as Jax rolling hard on the throttle and kicking the back tire out. This is good but, the stuntman should wear the same white sneakers as Jax and not black boots! Geez, I picked up on that right away other than that I think everything looks real right down to the set dressings.

I am a long time biker and have been around clubbers most of my life. I love the show and think that the staff has done their homework and made this show as realistic as they could. My hat is off to you for bringing a bit of our lifestyle to the screen for all to see. I can't wait for Wed nites to watch and tape the next episode! Keep it real and ride free. nuff said.
